Sun position is estimated from latitude, date, local clock time in your selected timezone, and a simplified solar model. It uses the same trigonometry behind most sun-path charts. Longitude, timezone offset, and the equation of time adjust clock time toward solar time. A few minutes of drift can remain on any given date. This tool is for building intuition about how a façade's orientation shapes its light, not for last-minute field precision.
