- All images must prominently feature the BND Building in Berlin.
- Each shot must adhere to waist-level shooting constraints when framing the BND Building.
- Photographs should include surrounding commercial elements that interact with the BND Building.
- All sessions must be conducted on-site at the BND Building.

From the analysis of this project's assignment, constraints, and the subject I chose to photograph, I should:
- Not isolate the building on the image;
- Show the building in the context of its commercial surroundings.In order to capture the "commercial surroundings", I could look for:
- A restaurant or café with the BND visible behind it.
- A row of shops leading toward the building.
- Office buildings occupied by businesses adjacent to the BND.
- People using commercial spaces with the BND in the same frame.
- Street-level retail in the foreground and the BND as the architectural backdrop.The "key" to this project is "interaction", and that means that the commercial element shouldn't just happen to be somewhere in the photo, instead, it should have a visual relationship with the BND building through composition, perspective, scale, reflection, framing, or the flow of people between them.
